CARTHAGE, Mo. — The man charged with a stabbing in Carthage earlier this week makes his first appearance in court.
Nathan Roberts, 32, of Kansas City appeared via video before Judge Luke Boyer today for a formal arraignment on charges of first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
Roberts requested his bail be changed, but his request was denied. Instead, a bond review hearing has been scheduled for next week. Roberts is currently being held in the Jasper County Jail on no bail.
