(NEXSTAR) – Buc-ee’s has been a major focus of attention lately, and not just because of its ongoing growth spurt.
Weeks ago, the Texas-based travel center chain became the focus of an Ohio community’s ire when it sued a small business for alleged trademark infringement.
It’s just the latest lawsuit Buc-ee’s has brought against small businesses, a practice that rose to the attention of late-night TV’s John Oliver. The “Last Week Tonight” host recently encouraged Buc-ee’s to come after him instead.
