MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (WKRC) – A bronze statue commemorating a child who died from a rare form of cancer was stolen, resulting in the arrests of two adult men.
Jake “Jakey” Duque was only 5 years old when he died from a rare and aggressive form brain cancer in 2020, according to WPLG. His parents posted regular updates regarding his condition to social media, garnering an audience that named itself “Jakey’s Army.”
