NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WFLA) — The New Port Richey Police Department is searching for a man they say fatally stabbed someone.
At around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, the police department released limited information about a dispute between “two known subjects.”

What started as a verbal dispute quickly escalated when Ivan Aguilera Torres, 44, stabbed the victim in the chest with a “large machete-type knife,” police said.
The man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead, though police did not specify exactly when or where the stabbing took place.
