MICANOPY, Fla. (WCJB) – A Marion County community gathered Saturday to honor Lloyd W. Johnson Sr., a farmer, businessman, community leader and school bus driver, with a historical marker and a newly named street in his memory.
Southeast 185th Avenue was renamed Lloyd W. Johnson Memorial Avenue during the ceremony. A historical marker was also unveiled in his honor.
