WALNUT CREEK, CALIFORNIA – Drivers passing the intersection of Olympic Boulevard, Tice Valley Boulevard and Boulevard Way may have noticed an unexpected sight: a cluster of closely spaced, two-story houses rising beside the Olympic Village shopping center, right by Il Pavone.
The homes are being built at 2424 Olympic Boulevard, on roughly one acre immediately west of the shopping center. The houses are on a separate parcel that previously contained older residential buildings.
The site has a Walnut Creek mailing address but is in the unincorporated Saranap area, placing the development under Contra Costa County rather than the City of Walnut Creek.
