GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Calvin University has opened a new School of Engineering and Computer Science, combining two existing programs under what university leaders described as a “unified vision for the future.”
The annoucement comes after the university reduced 12.5% of its faculty positions and consolidated several academic programs late last year. Other West Michigan universities have shifted focus toward emerging technology and related degree options.
