MEMPHIS, Tenn. — We’re in an Extreme Heat Warning all across our our area until 8 p.m. Sunday, extending to Monday for many areas including Shelby County.
Temperatures will be in the triple digits with heat indexes in the 108-115+ degree range. High temperatures will remain above average each day through Wednesday.
“You’re definitely going to want to be drinking as much water as possible,” WREG’s Lindsey Gaffney said Sunday. “This heat is very dangerous today and even for the next couple of days.”
