The Storey County Sheriff’s Office is responding to some recent drone sightings in the Virginia City area.
They say they’ve received many reports about the drones and want the public to know they are aware.
In a post on Facebook the sheriff’s office wrote, “The drone is part of a geophysical drone surveying company contracted to conduct survey operations on claims in the area, including in the BLM land surrounding Virginia City and the Virginia City Highlands.…
