Steve Fink wanted to be an accountant. Over 40 years later, and after 21 years serving as South Carolina’s Senior Associate Athletics Director for Communications and Public Relations, he’s calling it a career. Officially hanging it up this past June, The Daily Gamecock sat down with Fink to talk about his journey through sports media.
Born and raised in a small town in Iowa, he opted to stay close to home and attend the University of Northern Iowa for their accounting program.
