ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A developer is moving forward with plans to renovate a historic Alpharetta home that has sat derelict for years.
Located at 193 Canton St., the designated landmark Weatherford House was built between 1910 and 1920 in a Folk Victorian style that was popular at the time. It also is somewhat of a local legend. Visitors once paid $1 to view a two-headed calf that was kept in a backyard barn.
