South Carolina officer fired for allegedly using Flock cameras to run ex’s plate 166 times

MAULDIN, S.C.

A police officer in South Carolina was fired for allegedly misusing the Flock camera system.

Officer Ellie Anna Hammond, 24, was terminated on Aug. 3, according to the Mauldin Police Department. A spokesperson for the department said they would not provide further comment due to this “being a personnel matter.”

Hammond was fired due to allegations of misconduct between March and July, according to documents provided by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
