ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Two people were exposed to a rabid cat found in Liberty, according to the South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH).
The DPH reports the cat was found near Old Greenville and Liberty highways and submitted for testing on Aug. 10. It was confirmed to have rabies on Tuesday.
