(WSPA) — The body of a Las Vegas police officer and Upstate native killed in the line of duty is returning to South Carolina Monday.
Officials with Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport confirmed Austin “Zade” Abdelnabi’s body is expected to arrive around 7 p.m.
Abdelnabi was a Greenville native and Blue Ridge High School graduate who earned a criminal justice degree from Clemson University in 2022. He joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in 2023.
