A visit by armed U.S. Immigration Customs and Enforcement agents Friday to a North Natomas immigration law firm has raised questions regarding individual rights when confronted by federal officers.
The agents claimed to have received a list from Washington, D.C., which gave the building’s address as the primary mailing address for a number of people. The ICE officers attempted to inspect the Morris Law Group for beds, but were turned away after failing to provide a warrant.
