TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man has been indicted after being accused of robbing a bank in the capital city nearly a month ago, according to the Northern District of Florida U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Fifty-four-year-old James Bryant’s indictment comes after Tallahassee Police said he allegedly robbed Regions Bank on North Monroe Street on June 22.
The 54-year-old allegedly went into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, just before leaving with over $3,000 in cash, according to police.
Court records revealed that Bryant repeatedly told the teller not to look at him. Furthermore, the teller told officers that the Tallahassee suspect didn’t say he had a weapon, but held a bag “close to his body in a manner that made [the teller] believe the suspect was possibly concealing a weapon.”…
