21-year-old woman seriously hurt after getting hit by car near UCM campus

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 21-year-old Kansas City woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after authorities say she was hit by a car near Warrensburg’s University of Central Missouri (UCM) campus Sunday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), just before 7 p.m. Sunday, a 21-year-old woman was walking in the area of West South Street, just east of Washington Street and near the UCM Store at The Crossing, when she crossed in front of a 2020 Dodge Charger and was hit.
