ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Now 21 years since a horrific killing spree in Albuquerque, the suspect in that case was again found incompetent to stand trial.
John Hyde will spend at least another two years getting psychiatric treatment. He is accused of shooting and killing five people on Aug. 18, 2005. Among the five people killed were Albuquerque police officers Michael King and Richard Smith.
Hyde is diagnosed with schizophrenia and is in a state psychiatric hospital. The shooting reportedly happened after his medication was changed…
