Close call: Dog rescued after going over cliff in SF

(KRON) — It was a close call for one dog in San Francisco on Monday afternoon. According to the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD), around 2:10 p.m., a dog had gone over a cliff near El Camino del Mar at Deadman’s Point on the northwest corner of the city.

The dog was trapped on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean near San Francisco’s Lands End Trail, SFFD said. Fire crews then saved the dog and reunited it with its owner.
