EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Southwest University held its pinning ceremony to celebrate 28 graduates who completed a 24-month program and are now moving on to the next step in their careers in nursing.
KTSM 9 News’s Estela Casas was given the opportunity to address the group of graduates at their pinning ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 13.
During the celebration, graduates received pins, lit lamps, and recited the Nightingale Pledge to declare their commitment to public health and putting patients first.
