Two Burlington residents were hurt in a crash in the Kansas City metro area Monday morning.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash on Interstate 35 near Shawnee Mission Parkway happened shortly before 11 am. The wreck developed when a northbound car driven by 26-year-old Arnold Lancaster of Olathe went off I-35 and hit a parked pickup on the shoulder.
