Dayton man gets 15 years for death of 23-month-old son

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton man is set to spend at least 15 years in prison for his role in the death of his 23-month-old son.

Kenyon Johnson, 24, was set to go to trial this month, but last week, Johnson’s defense attorney made an agreement with prosecutors.

Today, Johnson uttered few words when given the opportunity to address the court, with most people in the gallery either family of the victim, law enforcement officers, or other personnel close to the case.
