CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Local teachers and staff from across our area are learning about how they can create a positive environment for students as the new school year approaches.
‘Rachel’s Challenge,’ which is sponsored by REACH Counseling, held an event at Richland High School on Tuesday with the goal of local school districts having representatives that can look at students and co-workers in a way that promotes wellness, care and more.
“We’re hopeful that by giving this back to the teachers, we’re not only giving them something to take into the school year, but also just encouraging them as they start the school year; we see how much they put in every day and we hope that this gives them that lasting impact to be able to go into the school year and push forward and create change,” said event coordinator Alexis Christofes…
