An 81-year-old woman was hospitalized after being shot while inside a home in New Castle County, Delaware, police said.
According to New Castle County Police, just after 2 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 17, 2026, officers were called to Rose Lane in the community of Rosegate after receiving multiple reports of shots fired.
