A kids’ soccer game sideline conversation led to an ownership transition of BevRidge Public, a beloved local restaurant and bar in Ridgefield.
Jafet Lopez, the new owner and a restaurant industry veteran, tells the story of how it began while coaching his kids’ soccer team. He had mentioned to Sherman, a fellow soccer parent and co-owner of Brothers Cascadia Brewing, that he hoped to own his own restaurant when the time was right.
