Pennsylvania will provide more than half a million dollars to Allentown to build a bike connector linking two major parks, state lawmakers announced.
Gov. Josh Shapiro’s administration awarded $545,750 to connect Trexler Park and Cedar Creek Park at Cedar Crest Boulevard. The funding comes from the Pennsylvania Multimodal Transportation Fund, which supports highway, bridge, aviation, port, bike and pedestrian projects statewide.
