Southaven agrees to swap land with SpaceXAI to pave way for new police, fire training centers

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (WMC) – The City of Southaven, Mississippi, is moving forward with plans for a new police and fire training center through a land-swap deal with one of SpaceXAI’s subsidiaries.

Under the agreement, the city will trade a 51-acre property on Tulane Road for MZX Tech’s 69 acres on Swinnea Road, which surround an existing 20-acre city real estate parcel.

The deal also includes $40 million to build new police and fire training facilities on that land…
