ALTAMONT, N.Y. (WNYT) — The Altamont Fair is back for another summer, bringing carnival rides, live entertainment, agricultural exhibits, animals and plenty of fair food to the Capital Region.
The 2026 Altamont Fair runs through Sunday, Aug. 23, at the historic Altamont Fairgrounds. The fair represents Albany, Schenectady and Greene counties and has been a regional tradition since 1893.
