Family remembers 20-year-old killed in Strongsville crash

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio (WOIO) – The family of 20-year-old Heaven Hennings is remembering her as police continue investigating a crash that killed her and a second passenger on I-71 near Strongsville Saturday.

According to the Strongsville Police Department, officers, Strongsville Emergency Medical Services and additional agencies were dispatched at 3:13 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, to I-71 southbound north of SR-82 for a single motor vehicle crash. The vehicle was found off the roadway in a nearby ditch. Three people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. I-71 southbound was closed and Life Flight was notified to respond.

Driver I’saic Pace, a 20-year-old Cleveland resident, was flown to MetroHealth with multiple injuries, according to the Strongsville Police Department. Passenger Heaven Hennings, a 20-year-old Cleveland resident, was transported by ambulance to Southwest General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
