FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — An inmate at the Allen County Jail was found not guilty of a felony dealing charge in connection with a death at the jail over two years ago.
29-year-old Taylor Hunt was found not guilty by a jury on Monday of a Level 1 felony count of dealing a controlled substance resulting in death and a Level 5 felony count of possession of a narcotic drug.
These charges stemmed from a death in the Allen County Jail, where 27-year-old Steven Matthew Perry Jr. overdosed in his cell. Hunt, as well as another inmate, 34-year-old Brian Boggs, was accused of trading fentanyl for six cups of noodles and six bags of chips, according to court documents…
