The city of Greenville has taken the next step to turn its planned wheelsports park into a reality.
City officials released a request for proposals for the project’s construction manager at risk on Aug. 17. Interested construction firms are invited to attend a pre-proposal meeting on Aug. 26. Submissions for the RFP are due Sept. 15.
The new park, named Wheels Up, will be built on approximately 10 acres of land adjacent to the Greenville Downtown Airport and near the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail. It will feature a concrete skate park, an asphalt pump track and a paved bicycle playground…
