HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Community members say smoke from a nearby construction site is causing problems in their Horry County neighborhood.
People living in the Inverness neighborhood along River Oaks Drive said the burning of tree piles at a construction site is causing smoke and debris. They say this has been ongoing for weeks.
Resident Cheryl Polenick said, “It’s to the point now where we have ash on the cars, on the street, there’s ash in the pool, when I was barbecuing last night black ash was coming down on the food I was trying to barbecue.”…
