TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Active adults in Tallahassee will have a chance to try everything from wildlife encounters to brewing tours this fall as the Tallahassee Senior Center’s 17th annual Lifelong Learning Extravaganza returns with more than 50 classes and events.
The Lifelong Learning Extravaganza, known as L3X, runs Sept. 2-26 and is open to adults ages 18 and older. Organizers say the schedule includes classes, workshops, recreational activities, field trips and special events designed to spark curiosity and encourage lifelong learning.
The public can preview this year’s lineup at one of two free L3X Preview Parties at the Maguire Center at Westminster Oaks, 1221 Commencement Cove. The first is Monday, Aug. 10, from 5:30-7 p.m. The second is Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 10-11:30 a.m. Guests can browse the course catalog, meet instructors and sponsors, ask questions and enjoy light refreshments.
