WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A car crashed into a First Citizens Bank in Wilmington Wednesday afternoon, police confirmed.
The crash happened in the 3600 block of South College Road, near the intersection with 17th Street, on Aug. 19. The Wilmington Police Department said the call came in around 3:30 p.m.
Police have not yet released information about any injuries or the extent of the building’s damage.
According to a WECT crew, the scene has been cleared. The bank also has a sign posted stating it is “closed due to an emergency”…
