Fifteen Texas Department of Criminal Justice were recently recognized during the 32nd Annual Texans Caring For Texans ceremony hosted in Canyon in early August.
The employees were among 63 state employees recognized during the event, which is hosted to recognize state employees for their professional service, according to a news release from TDCJ.
“The Texans Caring for Texans honorees reflect the heart of this agency. These 15 employees have demonstrated what it means to serve others, not just in their roles at TDCJ, but in their commitment to their communities,” said TDCJ Executive Director Bobby Lumpkin. “I appreciate their dedication and congratulate each of them on this well-deserved recognition.”…
