DES MOINES, Iowa – This year’s Iowa State Fair has been a wet one, with several days of rain creating muddy conditions around parts of the fairgrounds and making parking more difficult for some fairgoers.
Several parking lots were temporarily closed due to the weather, but the Iowa State Fair was able to reopen them after a break in the rain allowed the ground to dry.
