Rex Huppke, one of my favorite columnists, who wrote for the Chicago Tribune and is now a leading voice on USA Today’s opinion pages, recently declared that he’s tired of the pot calling the kettle black when it comes to extremism.
Republicans have spent the past decade worshiping the most extreme president in our nation’s history, a man with an almost impossibly long history of loathsome behavior and malicious dishonesty, he wrote.
