MADISON, Wis. — Madison police asked the public to avoid the area near Fremont Circle on the city’s north side Wednesday morning.
Police said a person barricaded themselves in a residence. In an update just after 8:45 a.m., police said the person was taken safely into custody and the area would soon be cleared.
