Aggravated battery to officer
Collin McEnery, 31, no address given, was charged August 8 with aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, fleeing and eluding, and violating an order of protection after police said he spat in an officer’s face while being placed in a squad car. Police responded to Orland Health & Fitness on a report that McEnery was wanted on several arrest warrants. When officers arrived, McEnery fled and was apprehended in a nearby residential backyard, police said.
