Texas Judge Gets The Boot In Shocking Twist From Karmelo Anthony Murder Case As Defense Seeks Retrial

Karmelo Anthony was convicted of first-degree murder in June and sentenced to 35 years in prison.

It all stemmed from an incident in April 2025. Anthony fatally stabbed 17-year-old student-athlete Austin Metcalf during a high school track meet at David Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
