First Alert Forecast: Time to get prepared, another possible cyclone taking aim on the state

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Trade winds weaken today as a weak disturbance passes over the islands. The disturbance will bring an increase in moisture that will produce an uptick in shower activity through Friday.

Most of the showers will favor windward neighborhoods. A new potential tropical system is forming southeast of the state.

There is a possibility of severe weather conditions from late Saturday through Monday, especially for the Big Island. There is still a bit of uncertainty with the system, so best to make storm preparations as soon as possible…
