COLUMBUS (WJW) — A man who murdered a woman and her two daughters in North Royalton in 2017 is remaining on death row after the Supreme Court of Ohio affirmed his sentence Thursday.
The death penalty was upheld for George Brinkman Jr. of Brunswick following the supreme court majority decision that a Cuyahoga County three-judge panel correctly looked at all of the evidence against Brinkman in their sentencing.

Brinkman originally pleaded guilty to murdering Suzanne Taylor, 45, and Taylor and Kylie Pifer, 21 and 18, in 2018. When a three-judge panel sentenced him to death, he appealed and the Supreme Court of Ohio agreed with his arguments, sending his case back to the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.
In 2022, Brinkman again pleaded guilty to the murders, and an all-new panel once more sentenced him to death…
