A 79-year-old woman was freed from her Mercedes by emergency responders after she collided with another vehicle Wednesday night on William Penn Highway in Bethlehem Township, police said.
A preliminary investigation determined a 67-year-old man drove a 2017 Toyota in front of the 2011 Mercedes sedan, according to Township Police Chief Gregory J. Gottschall.
The Toyota was headed west around 9 p.m. on William Penn Highway, the chief said. The Mercedes was headed east on William Penn Highway, and both cars were turning onto Emerick Boulevard at the time of the crash, Gottschall said. The Mercedes had the right of way, according to the chief…
