Labor Day weekend marks the end of summer – summer jobs and programs are ending, the weather is gradually cooling, and kids are going back to school.

Around Cleveland, Labor Day goes out with a roar as the Cleveland National Air Show flies into town, bringing all the noise of thunderous fighter jets and large crowds to our area.

We’ve come up with some other things you can do to celebrate the end of summer in and around Cleveland. And if you want to get the heck out of town and far from the sound of jet engines, we have some suggestions for that too.

Cleveland Taco Fest

  • When: Friday, Sept. 4, through Monday, Sept. 7
  • Where: Jacobs Pavilion, 2014 Sycamore St., west bank of the Flats
