Cuyahoga County sheriff reports successful county fair security operation as Lorain County deputies prepare for theirs

CLEVELAND — More than 50,000 people attended the Cuyahoga County Fair in Berea this year, and for the first time, the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department was responsible for the entire security operation.

The department says the fair ended with just one arrest, no citations and no serious incidents.
