New Castle County Police are once again sounding the alarm after receiving a fresh wave of complaints from residents being targeted by phone scammers.
According to authorities, individuals are calling local residents and falsely claiming to be officers with the New Castle County Police Department. The callers are using a variety of made-up scenarios to trick people, including claims that the resident missed a court date, failed to sign a subpoena, or has an outstanding warrant.
