FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A Florence pastor and longtime environmental justice advocate joined regional leaders in Augusta this month for a discussion about the potential impact of expanding data center development on electricity costs, water resources and wetlands.
The Rev. Leo Woodberry, pastor of Kingdom Living Temple in Florence and executive director of New Alpha Community Development Corporation, was a featured panelist at the “Watts, Water, Wetlands: Who Pays the Cost?” community forum Aug. 8 at Williams Memorial CME Church in Augusta.
