Refrigerant leak leads to hazmat situation at Cherokee County Justice Center

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Cherokee County hazmat team responded to the Cherokee County Justice Center Friday after a refrigerant leak.

Fire units responded to the building just before 1:30 p.m. after a smoke alarm went off, but units instead found that a line in the refrigerant system had ruptured.
