A former Campbell University student was arrested Wednesday after being accused of planning a mass shooting on campus.
Gabriel David Sharlow, 19, of Greenville is charged with communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property, as first reported by WRAL. The warrant for Sharlow’s arrest was issued Wednesday, and he’s accused of plotting the attack Tuesday, according to court documents.
Sharlow had allegedly gathered a shotgun, 100 rounds of ammunition and several “explosive devices,” including a Molotov cocktail, his arrest warrant states. A deputy wrote in the warrant that Sharlow’s goal was to “kill all present except himself.”…
