Kenny Moats’ son continues father’s legacy 10 years after on-duty death

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Tuesday will mark 10 years since Maryville Police Officer Kenny Moats was killed while on duty.

On August 25th 2016, the 32-year-old died at the hospital after being shot while responding to a domestic call. His son, Kamron Moats, said the community not only lost a dedicated officer, but he lost a best friend, father, and role model.
